Molina is a beautiful village in a mountain valley. The surrounding mountains protect it from winds and winter storms. The architectural beauty and the precious local stone, skillfully carved, exalt its lost dimension, when time used to go by slowly following the rhythm of nature. In every courtyard it is possible to find elements testifying to the past activity of breeding, especially of cows. Our guides will let you experience the ancient art of the dairyman; you will participate to the dairy process, contributing to the realization of cheese and ricotta that you will be able to take home at the end of this experience.

The second part of the tour is dedicated to a walk in the Waterfall Park, a unique natural oasis of great charm, in the lush vegetation of an uncontaminated valley.

The Mill Trail

This is the ideal tour for discovering the ancient village of Molina and the rural culture that has developed along the centuries in this oasis in the Lessini Mountains. You will appreciate the architectural beauty of the village, which has preserved the typical aspect of the ancient medieval town. The houses made of stone, with the roofs covered by white slabs, are grouped in courtyards, accessible through narrow streets. Walking along the streets of the village you will feel as if walking in a lost dimension, when time used to go by slowly following the rhythm of nature. Molina owes its name to the past presence of many mills (in Italian, mulini), built since the Middle Age to exploit the water coming from the numerous springs in the area. Some of the mills, hidden in the thick bush, fascinate with the charm of ancient ruins. Others have been restored and are still in use. The tour will take you to one of these, where you will experiment the activity of the miller and take home some flour you will have made.

In the second part of the tour, the visit to the Waterfall Park will take you to a unique natural environment, in the green of an uncontaminated valley, among vertical rock walls and bubbly waterfalls.
